Bike Lessons & Guided rides.When?

Change your life with fitness, your well being & impact on Earth, just by riding a bike!
How many lessons are needed to Learn to Ride?
I can usually teach trainees to ride independently in an hour but sometimes it can take longer depending on previous experience & medical condition. After, I recommend my Bike Skills lesson to build up some more confidence & control.
Do I need to bring a bike & helmet
Bikes & helmets can be borrowed for all One to one Lessons. For all Guided rides & all Private groups, own Bike & helmet to be used.
If you bring a bike & helmet I can check it over and make any adjustments to suit. Please remove stabilisers if you can before, no worries if not, I can do that.
What should I bring?
Drink & a snack/ motivational treat.
What to wear
Dress appropriately for the weather. Comfortable covered up clothes e.g. sweatshirt & leggings/ jogging bottoms, waterproof, grippy trainers/ shoes, long socks & gloves. Long hair is best tied up in a low ponytail.
Do trainees need Knee & elbow pads?
No, they can get in the way of moving and are not always comfortable.

For One to one Lessons, if under 18 a parent or guardian must stay. For Private group, under 18's can be left with me.
