Where are the lessons?
Bolton, Greater Manchester.
When are the lessons?
After school, Weekends & School holidays/Half terms.
How many lessons are needed?
I can usually get most children riding within the hour, but sometimes 2 lessons are needed. Once riding, booking another lesson is good to have as I can teach the child how to have more control and confidence on their bike.
How do I book & how do I pay?
Message me to arrange date/time, then pay for the lesson you want on the Book page.
Does my child need their own bike/helmet?
A bike & helmet can be borrowed. If they have their own bike, bring it along if you can and I will check it over and make any adjustments.
What shall they wear?
Dress appropriate for the weather. Comfy covered up clothes, e.g. sweatshirt & leggings/jogging bottoms, waterproof, grippy shoes & gloves.
What shall we bring?
A drink and a snack.
Is there a toilet?
No, but a supermarket is nearby which has toilets, cafe & cash machine.
Do I stay at the lesson, or go?
For the one to one lessons, a parent/guardian must stay. For the Group lessons, children can be left with me but must be looked after at lunch time by the parent/guardian.
What if the weather is bad?
If it is extreme the lessons will be cancelled at least 1 hour before by me & we can arrange another time. If it is light rain or showers the lessons will continue.
What if I am late?
If you can do so safely, give me a call on 07886644623 and let me know. I will not wait at the training area for more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start. I will be 2 minutes away at a supermarket cafe, give me a ring when it is safe to do so & I will meet you at the training area. To prevent disruption to other customers your lesson will not be extended beyond the booked time slot.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
If less than 48 hours notice is given, then no refund is given.
If your child is ill on the day, let me know asap so I can advertise the slot and we can rearrange for another time.
How do I book another lesson?
Another lesson can be booked at the time of the lesson. It is advised that if you want to book 2 lessons you might want to book them at the same time, if you don't want too long in between. An online booking system will be coming soon, but for now text or Facebook message me to arrange.
